Measure the entrance, then choose the layout

Enter the clear post-to-post opening and the highest overall gate height in millimetres. An arched design needs one overall height in the calculator. We confirm the finished manufacturing width and hinge, latch and ground clearances before manufacture; do not treat the opening measurement as the finished gate width.

Choose a named design and switch to Drawing. Compare the profile and open or enclosed sections with the original references. Baby blue marks see-through spaces. Some styles retain an enclosed lower base even when the upper section is open. The visualiser produces a concept drawing, not a photograph of your property.

What does a pedestrian timber gate cost?

The base supply rate is $1,200 per metre of opening width, including GST. Height does not change that base calculation. A 1,000 mm opening gives a $1,200 gate estimate; with $88 Melbourne delivery, the gate-and-delivery estimate is $1,288 including GST.
