Veneer Timber Gate
Veneer has a curved top dipping towards the centre and a dividing rail below the middle in the original reference. The photograph shows open upper vertical members over a short enclosed base. The relative depth of the two areas distinguishes it from Robe.

Which sections are open or enclosed?
The lower base remains enclosed. Confirm upper backing, the dividing-rail position and the dipped line in the final drawing.
In Drawing, baby blue indicates see-through spaces. White represents timber or an enclosed panel. The catalogue images are fixed references; the concept sketch responds to measurements and the available section choices. Decorative through-cutouts are openings, not applied ornaments.
Measure your opening for Veneer
Enter the clear post-to-post opening and the highest overall gate height in millimetres. For double gates, give the full opening once. Choose pedestrian, double or sliding in the calculator, then confirm the final proportions, fitting clearances and details before manufacture. The concept is not a photograph of a gate on your property or a final manufacturing drawing.
A sliding layout also needs installer checks for run-back space, overlap, supports and operating hardware. Original photographs of swinging gates do not establish a completed sliding installation.
Gate supply, finish and warranty
Standard LOSP treated pine gates are supplied treated and raw, with 65 mm standard gate thickness. Other thicknesses and timbers are available by custom enquiry. Frames use mortise-and-tenon joints reinforced with custom-made 300 mm screws underneath the joints. See the construction evidence and workshop photographs.
Gates carry a 10-year manufacturer’s structural warranty. Keep treated pine painted and maintained: repaint or touch up every two years. Read the painting and care guidance.
What does supply cost?
Base estimates are $1,200 per metre of opening width for pedestrian gates, or $980 per metre of the total opening for double and sliding gates. GST is included; height does not change that base rate. Delivery, posts, hardware and custom extras are separate. Custom specifications and delivery must be confirmed in your quote.
Made to order: allow 4–6 weeks from time of order. Buy the gate direct, source a compatible motor separately if needed and hire your own carpenter or gate installer. Motors and installation are excluded from the base gate price.
Compare the design before requesting a quote
Compare Robe and Bourke alongside Veneer. Check the outline, rail positions and open versus enclosed areas rather than choosing by name alone.
Send your selected design, opening, overall height, post requirements, suburb/postcode and entrance photographs. Use the calculator walkthrough to prepare your estimate.
